C# Developer - Microservices
C# Developer - Microservices - this is a long term contract opportunity for our Basel based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Designing, implementing, and testing .NET micro-services as part of an agile DevSecOps team
- Documenting design choices and implementation decisions throughout the development process
- Collaborating within a dynamic and diverse team of developers to integrate new systems with existing architecture
- Working closely with back office, implementation teams, and external vendors to align different banking areas on the new reconciliation platform
- Utilizing containers and message queues effectively to enhance system functionality
- Ensuring the new system meets all regulatory compliance and aligns with established software development standards
Your experience/knowledge:
- Expertise with C#/.NET Core, micro-services and containers with Kubernetes or ideally OpenShift
- Strong hands-on experience with message queues, preferably with Kafka, relational and non-relational databases, modern CI/CD pipelines, Enterprise Log Management platforms
- Strong background with database Management, database concepts, SQL, and database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Solid knowledge of design and integration patterns, in particular event-driven architecture, is beneficial
Your soft skills:
- Good problem solving and root cause analysis approach
- Ability to take the initiative and organize own work, along with flexibility and service orientation
